SLOAN PROGRAM OVERVIEW
SLOAN PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Sloan School serves approximately 35 students annually. An extension of Council Rock North and South High Schools, Sloan is designed as a non-traditional school setting for students who may struggle with anxiety, attendance, credit deficiencies, and/or adjusting to a large school population. A thorough referral process is in place for any CR North or CR South student recommended to attend Sloan. Discipline is never the primary component for the acceptance criteria, and students attending the Sloan program can return to their home school of CR North or CR South at any time of their choosing. Currently housed in the CR STAR Center in Richboro, The Sloan School program has also resided inside of Maureen M. Welch Elementary School, on the campus of Goodnoe Elementary School, and inside the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) building in Newtown Township.
